Who has it worse: the company looking to fill an importantposition or the person with the specific knowledge and experience looking for another job opportunity?

It depends on whom you ask. Both parties say their respective plight is the more formidable one. To help both sides, TechTrak makes it easier for companies and job-applicants to meet.

TechTrak provides a confidential search service that links company recruiters with qualified candidates. Company founders Robert & Maureen Sharib, said part of the reason they are building the business is that they realized how difficult it was for companies seeking highly experienced candidates to locate professionals interested in listening to new job opportunities.

Companies inform TechTrak of their specific hiring requirements via phone or e-mail. Once TechTrak receives a job description from a company our trained personnel set about cold-contacting persons in the workplace with the job requirement experience.

In turn, TechTrak delivers a list of the candidates to the recruiter, doing in a few days what traditional recruiting routes may take weeks and months to do. "With the old model of recruiting, it's really difficult for companies to find qualified job candidates. This service is an efficient and excellent means by which to find appropriate job candidates. Instead of taking three weeks to just meet with a search firm, it's possible to have someone hired in that same amount of time," remarks Bob.

TechTrak allows recruiters to phone in their job descriptions reaching live representatives on the other end. The cost of a Names Sourcing search by TechTrak starts at $45.00 per name, a fraction of the amount charged by traditional recruiting methods, such as a national advertising campaign ($5,000+) or an executive search firm ($20,000 to $50,000 or more). Such costs are usually beyond the means of smaller companies that TechTrak tries to focus on helping. "We've leveled the playing field," says Maureen. "We're giving smaller companies the same access to candidates as the big guys."

"We believe TechTrak is doing what any successful company tries to do, provide a better product at a lower price," said Bob . "In addition, we provide a personal service to our customers."
