I have read Maureen's course twice-it's that good--and have found it to be superb.
I have been the owner of my own search firm for 13 years and know just how valuable
Maureen's course is-that is if you want to source the best potential candidates.
Finally, as a former researcher at The Harvard Business School, I know something about
research standards. Maureen reaches those standards of excellence in her Magic Method course.

As a veteran recruiter with almost twenty years within the industry,
I've admired Maureen's various articles on sourcing over the past several years.
Her recent article on "Testing the Gatekeeper" was outstanding because it reminded me
of the basics I sometimes have forgotten to do.
She mentions that testing and selling ourselves is a must in order to get thru the gatekeepers,
as well as with everyone we do business with.
Maureen reminds us that its all about the "psychological process in our communications skills" that
gets us our results!
I appreciate her wisdom and industry knowledge...

In terms of resources, the best trainer I've encountered for giving tips about getting past
the gatekeeper is Maureen Sharib, over at Techtrak. TechTrak.com or TechTrak's Magic in the Method.
Maureen is a sourcing guru, which means she specializes in getting names, titles and phone numbers.
Her expertise is not in recruiting training, per se, which means that she's not going to be the one to
teach you how to make a reluctant candidate interested.
But she can teach you how to get past the gatekeeper, to a potential candidate.
I'm prompted to write this because in April I went to a training class offered by Maureen,
got some ideas that I immediately implemented, and made a big placement because of it.
I'm grateful for the training.

Maureen,
Highly ambitious Linked In request by a relatively new recruiter.
Your articles on Sourcing are the best on the web.
Aspiring to be a powerhouse Staffing Professional, am looking for mentors, and want to start with the best available.

Excerpted from a post on ERE (06/28/2007) in answer to a request for recruiting/sourcing literature:
For sourcing, you cannot go wrong with ANYTHING by Maureen Sharib (www.techtrak.com!)
She has pretty much written the book on name sourcing.
Hope these help!

Maureen,
I have been "gainfully" employed by a recruitment firm for almost a year,
as an independent contractor, sourcing and screening [a/k/a profiling].
I owe my success to your tutelage.
Thank you for all the wonderful things you do to promote this phase of the recruitment industry.
My very best wishes for your [and my] continued success.

Hi Maureen!
I am so excited because I just took on my first sub-contracting job doing phone sourcing!
After your seminar I decided to start putting myself out there to see what would turn up, and viola!
The sourcing group on Yahoo has been a great resource, and I wanted to thank you for turning me on to it!
You have been great and I owe my future success to you!
You are my motivation!
Sincerely,

Here goes a heartfelt "HOO-YAH" for Maureen and her course, "Magic in the Method".
Thank you for your help, Maureen!
After spending time with her personally, I found that 'the magic' in HER method is something that
you can't personally duplicate, you can't buy, and you just can't recreate on your own.
Maureen has a vast level of experience under her belt but her good-heartedness and unselfishness
are what allows the rest of us to benefit and prosper under her tutelage!
If you think you know how to name source, try "Magic in the Method"....
I GUARANTEE you'll learn in a mighty way!

Maureen,
I am a new member to your class and am thrilled with the content.
It's not only the information but the "matter of fact, no BS" way it is presented that rings true to a freed corporate refugee.
You like quotes, I wonder if you have heard this one from Zig Ziglar.
It is my favorite quote of all time and is the impetus of my business.
"You can get everything you want in life if you'll just help enough others get what they want."
You are doing that everyday and I admire you for it. Congrats on your success.
Thanks again for your training and if you ever come across anyone needing a good solid contingency recruiter
(biotech/pharma--science) please pass my contact information along.
Thanks again and have a great week!!

Maureen,
You were so kind to speak with me about a month ago regarding your Magic in the Method program.
As you recall, I was somewhat skeptical. I've been an executive recruiter for several years now.
But your program helped me take my recruiting to a new level.
The scripts, the ideas, the attitude and the posture you teach in your course are great.
Since purchasing the course, I have already closed over $50,000 in deals, with another $40,000 pending.
I am currently the Number 2 producer in my region coming out of December.
So far, I've earned a nice $25,000 commission check for next month and it could easily end up being twice that!
I am certain that I'll earn somewhere close to $200,000 this year.
Your course is a large reason for the success I've experienced thus far and in the future.
What you teach works!
Thanks again...
Sincerely,
Rashod Welsh
Executive Recruiter (1/20/06)

I can vouch for Maureen's course; it's easy to follow and quite clear.
It's almost a shame she actually teaches others because sourcing is a "black art" that can only be taught by a master,
though the master could charge more if she didn't.
I appreciate Maureen's intent to build a large and loyal following of sourcers capable of tackling America's biggest challenges.
I highly recommend it.
David Perry (6/6/06)

Dear Maureen,
When I first spoke with you about 6 months ago regarding my progress after using your course, I mentioned that I had closed $50,000 in deals.
Well, since then I have closed close to another $150,000! I'm close to $200,000 for the year (and it's only June).
I've already earned close to $100,000 for the year and I'm pretty sure I'll end up making near $200,000 for the year.
So far, I'm the top biller in my office, number five in my region and in the top 15% of the company right now.
Also, I am the frontrunner for our company's "Rookie of The Year" award (technically I'm not a rookie, but this is my first year with this particular firm, so...).
The most impressive thing about all this to me, Maureen is that your program has helped me do this in one of the worst markets in the country!
Detroit is still experiencing a recession because of the trouble with the automotive industry. Once again, I have to give you major credit. Your program works...

A string in the 'Sourcers Unleashed' group:
I'd like to take a moment to congratulate Maureen on her Magic in the Method course.
I've been going through the topics and detailed explanations on sourcing from simple boolean, to places to source and
the most important things to me which are stance, presence on the phone, mindset, details, thinking on your feet, business info,
pricing and much more... all of this with seasoned veteran play by play from Maureen.
I've been a names sourcer since 99 and moved into recruiting so the intense in-the-trenches sourcing hasn't been my mainstay for a while,
hence I decided on Maureen's training and this is the best I've seen anywhere.
It's a great value that will return its investment a thousand times over.
Just excellent Maureen...thank you.
Valicia Hale

Wow! Valicia, Thank you! Can I use that as a testimonial on the website? Maureen

I'd be honored :) I really am impressed with the content... you've got me all excited about sourcing again.
It's just jam packed!
If I were in the position to train an org I'd use your training.
Still there are always those who can't handle the heat regardless of the excellent training but for those who can....wow wow wow...this is some powerful stuff!
Thanks a ton ...really.

Hi Bob and Maureen,
Love your material.
Any plans in publishing a book with the sourcing modules in it?
Thanks,
